When @thebenazadi set out to create a private wellness-focused outdoor environment for his home, he trusted CPS Outdoors to bring the vision to life. One of the highlights of the project was a custom VersaCourt basketball court designed to complement the property while creating a space for fitness, recreation, and family enjoyment. Designed to feel like a private resort, this elevated lap pool is wrapped in lush tropical canopy, finished in hand-laid green mosaic tile, and anchored by a custom spa with bold geometric detailing. From the shaded loggia to the sun platform, every line was executed with precision to protect the design intent and elevate the outdoor experience. Installing a stainless steel perimeter overflow pool and spa hundreds of feet above the ground is never simple — especially when every lift, alignment, and timing window has to be exact. For this luxury residential tower in Surfside, our team coordinated a full-day crane operation to place an 800 SF stainless steel perimeter overflow pool and 70 SF spa atop the building. The installation required two cranes operating from opposite sides of the property, with pool sections weighing nearly 12,000 lbs each carefully lifted into position one piece at a time. Before the first pick even began, our team spent days preparing the structure, verifying slab elevations, laying out control gridlines, and ensuring every frame location was perfectly aligned. Weather delays, wind, and logistical challenges throughout the day made precision and patience even more critical. These are the types of technically demanding projects CPS Outdoors is built for. Set within Harbor Beach—one of Fort Lauderdale’s most exclusive waterfront enclaves—this project reflects the level of precision, planning, and execution required to build at the highest tier. With deep-water access and immediate proximity to the inlet, the setting called for a design that fully embraces its surroundings. The result is a clean, expansive pool that extends toward the water, reinforcing a seamless connection between the home, the landscape, and the view beyond. At the front of the property, custom water sphere features create a defined arrival experience—subtle in form, but impactful in execution. Every component of this project was approached as part of a fully integrated system, ensuring both visual clarity and long-term performance. From concept through construction, this is a reflection of CPS Outdoors’ ability to deliver complex, high-end environments with exacting standards. Precision at scale starts long before a single system is commissioned. The CPS team recently conducted a technical site review at one of the East Coast’s most ambitious aquatic developments — a $100 million waterpark facility featuring 11 water slides, a lazy river, and a Flowrider surf simulator, representing some of the most sophisticated aquatic engineering currently in operation. Large-scale aquatic systems operate at a level of engineering complexity that demands ongoing engagement: hydraulic load management, redundant mechanical systems, structural integration, and flow dynamics that few firms ever encounter. For CPS, staying current with how these environments are engineered and operated is part of how we approach every project at the highest level.
